theshinyshinyworld was set up in 2005 by Directors Jane Smith and Dr Lisa Anderson. We saw a need for a company that could create and manage projects across business, ICT, government, education and the creative industries sectors.
We specialise in finding solutions to the new issues of the 21st century. New ways of thinking and actingare needed to explore issues at the boundaries of technology change, content generation and the impact on people’s behaviour.
Our projects are those that we feel will contribute positively to emotional intelligence; capacity building; managing change positively; organisational strengthening; using art to explain complex issues, especially with science; and creating new intellectual capital as boundaries dissolve between sectors and industries.
We consider and advise on the issues, communications and corporate models for a connected world working with continual change.
We specialise on creating projects that allow people to react and interact with change and with both new and old technologies to increase their ability to work and play within a changing global situation.
The projects that theshinyshinyworld creates use
art to create a conversation about a range of major issues such as changes in
the weather and it impacts on people and places
across the globe – the Inuit in the High Artic, the iconic statues of
Paris, the melting icebergs of the Antarctic.
Our projects document and comment on “the disappearing” of the planet –
the hutongs in Beijing, the fur traders
hut in the Arctic, the Elgin Marbles, icebergs at both the North and South Poles.
Strategy, change management, business planning, policy
development, project development & management, marketing, stakeholder management, financial analysis, communications, executive coaching and mentoring
are specialities of the company.
This is an early work and the first projection on the Sydney Opera House. The work formed the basis for many further international works that use new and old technologies and site specificty. Link to www.lisaanderson.com.au
